Kid-Approved Thanksgiving Side Dish Recipes

Thanksgiving morning is always such a cozy vibe in our home. I usually prep a breakfast casserole the night before so we can enjoy it while watching the parade and easing into the big day. Once the kitchen gets going, the whole house fills with those holiday smells we look forward to all year.

Now, as much as my kids love Thanksgiving, when they were really little they would only eat maybe three things I made—then head straight for dessert (and hey, no judgment there!). Kids can be picky eaters, and I’ve learned that the holiday meal feels so much more special when they actually enjoy what’s on their plate, no matter what stage of eating they’re in.
